Notifications
There’s no in-app notification inbox in Accordia. Instead, “notifications” are the emails the system sends to participants when a case action needs their attention — for example, an invitation to sign a document, or a certified communication.
When a notification is sent
Section titled “When a notification is sent”Notifications are tied to a specific action on a case. When an action moves into a state that requires a participant’s attention (for example, a Document Sign action is sent out, or a reminder is triggered), Accordia emails the participant using the address recorded for them on that case.
The content of these emails comes from your organization’s Notification Templates, with the participant’s details (name, address, etc.) filled in automatically.
What you’ll see in the app instead
Section titled “What you’ll see in the app instead”- Toast messages confirming an action succeeded or failed (e.g. “Case created successfully”).
- A calendar indicator in the header that shows a red dot when you have events today.
- Status text on a case action itself — for example, “3 of 5 participants have signed” — rather than a separate notifications feed.
- A Send Signature Reminders action on an in-progress signing request, to re-notify anyone who hasn’t signed yet.
How it fits together
Section titled “How it fits together”Notifications are the delivery mechanism for Workflow actions like Communication and Document Sign — they’re what a Participant actually receives to act on a Case.
