Quick Actions

A Quick Action is a case built around exactly one action that executes right away — Accordia’s own description is: “cases with a single action that execute immediately.” Use it when you need to get one specific thing done and don’t want to set up (or don’t have) a full Workflow.

Quick Actions are found in the Quick Actions section of the navigation (separate from the main Cases list, though under the hood they’re just single-action cases).

The Quick Actions screen offers three of the seven action types, each shown with its credit cost:

  • Document Sign — upload a PDF and place signature areas for participants. See Sending a document for signing.
  • Communication — compose a message, optionally starting from a template, with attachments.
  • Burofax — upload a PDF to send as a certified postal notice; the same document goes to every selected participant (max 10MB).
  1. Open Quick Actions and start a new one.
  2. Choose an action type.
  3. Add or select at least one participant.
  4. Fill in the action-specific details (message, document, or signature areas).
  5. Submit — Accordia checks your organization has enough credits, creates the case and its one action, and immediately sends it out.
  • It doesn’t use up a full case credit.
  • It can’t have more actions added to it after the first one.
  • It skips picking a workflow entirely.

A Quick Action is a lightweight Case — everything about statuses, participants, and credits that applies to cases applies here too, just scoped to one action.
